Grande Pagode du Bois de Vincennes

Grande Pagode du Bois de Vincennes is in Paris, Île-de-France, France and is a national Buddhist landmark in the Bois de Vincennes, headquarters of the Union Bouddhiste de France and custodian of relics presented as relics of Shakyamuni Buddha.. The building began as the Cameroon pavilion constructed for the 1931 colonial exhibition in Paris.

It was later adapted for Buddhist use and became the Grande Pagode in 1977. The Union Bouddhiste de France manages the religious activities of the site, which brings together multiple Buddhist traditions for major observances such as Vesak. In 2009 the Union Bouddhiste de France received and installed relics presented by Thai Buddhist authorities as relics of Shakyamuni Buddha.
